Really grumpy about hearing Christmas music

The nail parlor that the female (and truth be told male) DG gets her manicures and pedicures is not like the Julia Roberts’ movie where she dies but everyone brings their story to the beauty parlor. All in all, Sky Nails has that San Francisco Bay Area vibe in which each customer acknowledges each other but does not engage in a lot of cross talk. Except for this afternoon where no one could escape the usually innocuous sounds of KOIT that had started playing nonstop Christmas music. Everyone in the room was asking, “Why?” The fact that the station was acknowledging it as “Christmas” music (e.g. Oh Little Town of Bethlehem) as opposed to the now PC “holiday” music left little solace. Wasn’t today a week before Thanksgiving? Will Christmas music start next year the day after Halloween?
