Tradition of checking the creek continues

In their Dawn Jogging days together,  steady rainy weather always initiated a watch of the  San Franscisquito Creek, which runs close to the DGs’ home. While it overflows infrequently – they think the last time was during  the storms of ’97-’98, which also took out the bridge that spans the creek near the Stanford golf course – it can turn into a somewhat raging torrent.  Donning rain gear this morning, the DGs walked together (the female DG in a pinch hitting role for friend Scott) and made sure their route included a creek check in from the current bridge.
