Bounty from the backyard garden

The DG’s reliance on Menlo’s weekly farmers market is getting less and less, thanks to the bounty from the backyard garden. There is a bevy of greens in one of their raised planter beds – romaine & red leaf lettuce, edible chrysanthemum, spinach, chard, and two Asian varieties (exact names forgotten!). So tonight’s dinner will feature greens and line-caught petrale sole from Pietro Parravano. All super fresh…
