First Blush: Natural air conditioning in full force

Fog over the coastal hills on the San Francisco Peninsula

The female DF/DG was up in the City last night for dinner. It was 76 when she left Menlo and 58 in the City. The big difference is the fog, which lingers north but just acts as an air conditioner for the mid-Peninsula, appearing in the early morning but burning off my mid-morning. When she did a Tuesday Big Dish run this morning, the fog was in two patches – overhead and hugging the top of the western hills. Just before she got to the top of the Dish, they’d been a pretty pink. Skies are blue by 10:00 am…
