First Blush: Pretty almost winter run

It’s not officially winter, so this morning’s outing wasn’t a real winter run. But the big storm that blew through the Bay Area over the weekend makes it seem wintry. There was debris all over the Stanford golf course and on the Big Dish pathways. Temps remain temperate, although it was actually warmer when the female Dawn Jogger set off just prior to dawn than it was when she returned home. Her favorite oak was framed nicely against the gray skies…

  1. That is a lovely oak. Do you know if it is a Garry Oak? There were a number of them in Oak Harbor, WA on Whidbey Island. They are nurley and Gnarley like you favorite oak is.
