First Blush: Every car has a story…

…But the female Dawn Jogger can’t even figure out what model this Citroen is – maybe a Dyane but it looks more rounded. She spotted it parked behind the big building that houses the Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics on the Stanford campus early this morning. The car was fully restored and spotlessly clean, so it evidently has an owner. But it also had Louisiana plates that had expired two years ago. She’s thinking this car must have a story…

First Blush: New avatar factory on Stanford campus?

The female Dawn Jogger thinks this new Stanford building is only lacking the cylinders that the humans crawled into before becoming converted to their avatar state in the movie Avatar. It was particularly eerie this morning in the pre-dawn light (now that daylights savings time has begun) as the lone occupant was a man wearing a cowboy hat. For those of you who can’t believe that Stanford is into some kind of cloning research, will you buy that it’s the new think tank for automotive excellence?
